A Program for Future Leaders
The Management and Leadership Program (MLP) is a two-week program, held at the University of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, offered by the Center for Executive Education in partnership with the David Berg Center for Ethics and Leadership and the International Business Center. It is a unique opportunity for international undergraduate students to travel abroad, study under renowned professors, and explore the operations of American and Canadian companies. Participation in the MLP significantly enhances one's university experience both academically and culturally.
In this program students will visit large corporations such as Bombardier and American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. Please refer to the Site Visits section for more information on company visits.
Class topics include strategic planning and development, leadership and communication, business ethics, and international finance. For more detail regarding class topics, please refer to the section titled Class Topics.
The MLP gives students the opportunity to engage in a unique, credit worthy learning experience and to develop themselves as global citizens. The program provides students with a chance to improve their English language skills and to immerse themselves in the history and corporate culture of another country, while gaining a distinct competitive edge in the employment market. Many graduate schools and potential employers seek candidates with international experience who have the skills to succeed in an ever-changing global marketplace.
