Anglo-American University, founded in 1990, is the oldest private institution of higher education in the Czech Republic. Anglo-American University is divided into five schools:

  • School of Business Administration (SBA) - offers a classroom environment that is developing in tandem with current business trends and demands.
  • School of International Relations and Diplomacy - еhe School of International Relations and Diplomacy (IRD) is the fastest growing school at Anglo-American University. Students enrolled in the School of IRD benefit from Anglo-American’s unique intercultural community of faculty and students.
  • School of Humanities and Social Sciences - after graduation, students holding either program title tend to work in media, cultural organizations, politics and education
  • School of Journalism
  • John H. Carey II. School of Law - programs emphasize the fundamentals of Civil law and Anglo-American law based on common law principles. This is more than simply an interesting pedagogical exercise; it is a very practical approach to the study of law in Europe today

  • Jewish Studies, History and Culture
  • Master degree programs:

    All programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission of the Czech Republic except the BA in Comparative Business Law program and MBA program. The Bachelor degree in Comparative Law programme has been awarded a validation by the University of Wales. When graduating from this rigorous law program, students will receive a BA (Hons) in Comparative Business Law issued by the University of Wales. MBA program is provided in cooperation with Argyros School of Business and Economics, Chapman University, USA with and carries the prestigious AACSB accreditation.
