This study course is built upon two fundamental scientific fields: „Public Economics“ and „Regional Economics“. The PhD study programme Economic Policy and Administration within the field of study Regional and Public Economics is designed to provide highly qualified specialists with the ability to participate in the process of control in public sector or various regions. Graduates acquire adequate level of economic knowledge together with necessary theoretical knowledge in economics, economy and management with an emphasis on public sector and a region. Graduates are determined to work in top managing positions in the field of public sector – in administration and in regional self-governing organizations as well as in economic subjects of the public sector. They can also achieve responsible positions in diverse authorities and institutions of the European Union.
