BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration degree at UNVA prepares graduates for responsible managerial roles within a variety of organizational settings. The curriculum is designed to afford breadth and depth in the complexities of multi-national, commercial, financial, industrial, educational, governmental, and non-governmental organizations. The BBA course will prepare you for your future, open doors to new opportunities and develop a strong and independent character. Admission to the University of Northern Virginia - Prague (UNVA-Prague) requires proficiency in English and motivation to succeed. Admissions officers examine both a student's past academic progress as well as their ability to benefit from a university education. Particularly important is the prospective student's motivation to study and personal desire to excel in business and also outside the workplace. For the Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA), an applicant must have a secondary school diploma.
Students may transfer credits from other institutions.
There is no deadline for submitting an application; you can apply at any time. However, we recommend that students wishing to begin studies in the fall, apply before the end of June. Students may start at three times during the year: end of September, beginning of January, and beginning of April. For international students who need a visa, deadline for application is at least three months prior to the beginning of a semester.

Admission requirements for foreign students who need a visa
- A letter of interest
- Application Form, Affidavit of Support form, TWO Reference forms must be filled out (all fields should be covered)
- Other documents submitted usually by e-mail, sometimes by regular mail copies are ok for the beginning of the process, but notarized copies must be obtained upon student’s arrival. All documents must be translated to English (high-school diploma and transcripts, university diploma, transcript, etc.)
- Transfer students must organize for their transcript to be evaluated by Global Credential Evaluators at their expense. The process must be completed at least by the end of their first term at UNVA
- English proficiency proof must be submitted in advance
- When all requirements are submitted, the Acceptance letter in English is sent by e-mail with instructions about deposit payment (3000 EUR), visa requirements, together with Deposit Agreement in attachment
- After the Deposit Agreement is received back, signed by the student, the Admission letter in Czech ("potvrzeni o prijeti ke studiu") is prepared, along with Housing Letter if needed
- The Admission Letter in Czech is to be signed at notary’s office
- Only after the deposit has been received to our EUR bank account, the letters are sent by DHL or EMS, depending on student’s wishes
- The finance officer is informed about the deposit and the record of it is saved in the designated electronic document, and the information is also stored in student’s file
- The costs of shipment are recorded in the finance office and a copy is put in student’s file. The student is informed about the costs and when the letters were sent (the visa processing fee and the shipping costs are later to be deducted from student’s deposit)
- The student is asked to inform us about the exact date and place of visa submission
- The contract is prepared, signed by the President of UNVA first, stamped, and then signed by student, upon arrival. Two copies are prepared, one for the student and one for UNVA
- When the student arrived and the contract is signed, the student can be registered and his/her file is transferred to Registrar’s office
