About UNVA

The University of Northern Virginia Prague was founded in 1998 and is now firmly established as a major international university offering accredited American-style educational programs at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. The University Headquarters are in the United States however, UNVA also has campuses in London and in Prague.

UNVA strives to give the student specialized knowledge in their chosen field. The university's faculty aim to teach the student not only theoretical concepts but also the scientific method - the process of discovery, analysis, and application of these concepts.

The University of Northern Virginia Prague is an American university with a truly international perspective. Both the faculty and student body represent dozens of countries world-wide. Accommodation

The University of Northern Virginia Prague are the only University in Prague that provides ON-Campus-Housing. Apartments (with a cleaning service) are provided for all UNVA students. The apartments are inside the UNVA building itself...thereby increasing safety and increasing the American University lifestyle. Alternatively, International UNVA students are usually accommodated with other students from the university. The location is chosen with careful consideration given to students' needs: distance from the school, access to public transport, access to the stores, etc.
