In conjunction with offering instruction for the University of London LL.B., a law qualifying degree, AAU is working to promote the self-study LL.M. Programme within the Czech Republic to academically qualified students. The LL.M. program is open to students who have already obtained their first degree; a legal education is not a requirement for study.
The LL.M. program allows students to choose from more than 30 different specializations or to obtain a general studies LL.M.. While being required to undertake only 4 courses during the span of their studies there are more than 40 different offerings students may select from. Due to the nature of the self-study program each student may focus upon the area of their particular interest and arrange their studies around their work and home commitment and finish in as little as one year or spread their studies out over five years.
Today, the University of London has more than 52,000 students worldwide studying one of more than a hundred different degree, diploma and certificate programmes. Former students and alumni include seven Nobel Prize winners, leaders of Commonwealth countries, government ministers, renowned authors, academics, judges and business leaders.
