The Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies: History and Culture program is the newest and most distinguished Jewish Studies program in Central Europe. It emphasizes the Jewish contribution and experience in Central Europe, and the practice of the humanities and social sciences.
This bachelor Jewish Studies program enhances cultural awareness. Students experience a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary curriculum that advances knowledge, skill, and understanding in Jewish history and culture.
Admission requirements:
- Evidence of high school graduation (notarized copy of a High School Diploma)
- Essay on “Professional Objectives and Interests”
- CV
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Any of the minimum qualifying English language test scores below (non-native speakers only): (TOEFL (525 on paper-based test, 197 on computer-based, 71 on Internet-based, FCE (B),CAE (C),IELTS (6)
- An interview (conducted in person or by phone)
Applicants who do not meet the required language test score can be accepted into our one-semester Intensive Academic English Program.
Your Degree and After
- Having completed all program requirements, students are conferred a Bakalář (Bc.) degree
- Our graduates are prepared for success in management, business advising, and as financial analysts, in the fields of Public Relations, Human Resources, Marketing, and Accounting.
- AAU graduates are sought after in master’s programs at private and public universities in the Czech Republic, other EU countries, the United States, Canada and many other countries around the world.
