Doctoral study in the field of Physical Engineering is focused on the following topics: low-temperature plasma physics applied to plasma technologies, solid-state physics directed towards x-ray analysis and study of thin layers, properties of semiconductor materials from the viewpoint of detection of ionizing radiation, engineering application in high energy physics, theoretical and experimental study of thermophysical properties of engineering working fluids. Two field branches support both theory and applications namely to technical sciences.
