The characteristic of a graduet of this field of study is based on his knowledge of the concepts of conventional and NC (numerically controlled) production machines, manipulators and robots in relation with their use in various technological configurations of mechanical engineering production. Great attention is paid to the orientation of research and development of new machine structures and advanced application of unconventional materials in the design of machine components.
