Theoretical fundamentals are basically a preparatory program for further study in the master study programme for bachelor graduates „MECHANICAL ENGINEERING“. Graduates of this bachelor study programme will be admitted to the „MECHANICAL ENGINEERING“ master study programme without entrance examinations. Graduates will gain knowledge on an engineering level from courses of general theoretical fundamentals (mathematics, descriptive geometry, physics, chemistry, computer graphics) and preparatory theoretical courses with a closer relation to mechanical engineering (mechanics of solids, deformable bodies and continua, materials engineering, thermomechanics and hydromechanics) which enable not only their practical application but also their development in engineering applications.

Admission requirements:

• Application form
• The transcript of studies (list of study grades) or a notarized copy of it
• A notarized copy of the secondary school leaving certificate
• A certificate of passing an examination in English min. B2 level
• Gaining the minimum number of points in the entrance examination pursuant to par. 4
• Gaining the minimum total recalculated number of points in the admission procedure pursuant to par. 5
