Study in this field is focused on thr training of higly qualified experts for the development and design of all types of transportation, aerospace and handling machinery. The graduates are able to create concepts, detailed designs and documentation of machines and systems. They have necessary knowledge of the mechanics of solids, fluids, thermomechanics, strength of materials, life and reliabilty of machines and automatic control. They master procedures of conceptional methodology and methods supporting the creativity of an engineer. They are able to analyze and specify a design task, creatively propose concepts of how to tackle such an issue, to perform a detailed concept and optimal dimensioning of the machine or equipment, to make an assessment of its life and reliability.
