As the processing of natural and synthetic polymers is a complex issue from a theoretical point of view, studying this course has quite an interdisciplinary character. Not only general knowledge, basic chemistry and basic physics, but also specific knowledge relating to the structure and properties of macromolecular compounds are required. Attention is also paid to machinery, equipment and tools used in polymer processing. Within the educational process, computers are widely used.
