Psychology is one of the most popular majors worldwide. Not only is this one of the most fascinating and dynamic fields of science, but it also provides a springboard for a wide range of opportunities for graduate study and exciting career choices.
The aim of the Psychology Bachelor's Degree program is to provide students with a solid foundation in science as well as practical experience in all the major fields of psychology. Psychology is a very wide field of disciplines, and the program must prepare students for the variety of potential career paths available. This degree is awarded by Empire State College, State University of New York. Student's who would like to earn a dual degree can also sit state exams at the end of their studies and receive a second diploma from UNYP accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education.
What can I do with a degree in psychology?
A liberal arts education combined with a major in psychology opens a wide range of potential career choices. This can be seen in the choices of our UNYP psychology alumni. Many entered graduate school Master's and Doctoral programs in psychology and have been accepted to top universities in the Czech Republic, the USA, and across Europe, including for example, Cambridge University in England, indicating our students are fully prepared for the rigors of even the best graduate schools. Other students chose to enter the workforce directly, and our alumni can be found in diverse positions; from trainers in top management consulting firms and human resource managers in major international companies to counselors working with troubled children in orphanages or working for the European Union on issues of cultural diversity. Still others are successfully pursuing advanced degrees in related fields such as Sociology, Adult Education, Politics or Public Relations. With such a wide variety of future possibilities, a bachelors degree in psychology helps keep all your options open when it comes time to make a career decision, and your experience with the wide range of courses offered in the major can help you to make sure that decision the right one for you.

- English language certificate (TOEFL internet based test (ibt) 72 or above, IELTS Academic 5.5 or above)
